BEAUTIFUL OBJECT | DESIGN LANGUAGE

Any time my projects felt more like art than design, the easier I felt the ideation came to me. There’s something freeing about figuring out the form before having to worry about the function. Obviously, it’s better to figure out the form WHILE you’re thinking about the function, because form should follow function, however for an exercise it’s nice to not have to worry. What made this project easier too was that the mystery objects already had machine logic applied to them, so the function was already figured out. I was just applying form and making sure the design language matched for all three objects.
